Declaring 2026 as the year of technology-based decision-making, Mr Naidu said the role of artificial intelligence must expand across government services. It tasked officials to use artificial intelligence to redress public grievances faster and strengthen data-driven governance for informed policy-making.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that as many as 878 government services are currently being provided to citizens through Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance. So far, around 1.43 million people have used these services, indicating the growing acceptance of digital governance platforms.
The Chief Minister said the government would place more emphasis on technology integration across departments to improve transparency, accountability and quality of services. He also reviewed the performance of key departments like health, agriculture, revenue, roads, RTA transport and fire services and directed the officials to further improve the results through technological interventions.
