
A Class 9 student from the city emerged as the national winner in the Creativity and Innovation category at the eighth annual TCS iON IntelliGem competition at the national level.
Hyderabad Public School’s Samskriti Konduru had earlier made it to the National Grand Final four years in a row, the first time for a student from Hyderabad in the IntelliGem competition.
In the 2026 edition, Samskriti made it to the semi-finals in two categories, “Universal Values” and “Creativity & Innovation”. She demonstrated exceptional originality and problem-solving skills and emerged as one of the top 2 students from Grade 9 nationally in the ‘Creativity and Innovation’ category before securing the title of National Winner in the Grand Final.
TCS iON IntelliGem is a flagship national level competition designed to assess key 21st century competencies among students of classes 5 to 9.
