Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Khammam District Collector Anudeep Durishetty handed over the certificate to the licensed inspector in Khammam on Sunday.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that outdated methods involving tapes and chains have been completely removed and replaced with modern Rover technology that allows measurements down to centimetres.
The government has procured 600 rovers and distributed them across the districts, he said while addressing a program at Khammam Collectorate (IDOC) where certificates were distributed to licensed surveyors who completed training.
He said licensed land surveyors have been brought directly to the field level to ensure accurate and transparent land measurement, marking a major shift in the land administration system.
A total of 5,500 trained licensed surveyors have been distributed among mandals based on land extent, he said. In Khammam district, appointment letters were issued to 47 candidates who qualified in the second phase.
Regarding the irregularities reported on the Dharani portal, the minister said forensic audits have already been completed in Sircilla and Siddipet districts and the reports are under government scrutiny. Similar audits will soon be conducted in the remaining 31 districts across the state, he added.
