Justice Suddala Chalapathi Rao of the Telangana High Court ordered the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and the Chief Minister of Revenue (Endowments) to remove all encroachments on the Goshala premises near Muslim Jung Bridge in Hyderabad.
The order was passed on a writ petition filed by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which alleged that the land for the Goshala was granted before independence and some persons were encroaching on its land of nearly 4,000 square yards.
