The Center of Excellence of Christian Medical College organized a workshop on modern health library services and information management at its Vellore campus on Thursday. According to a press release, the workshop showcased CMC’s excellence in library infrastructure, knowledge management, academic resource strategy, digital library integration, access to evidence-based information, faculty and student engagement, accreditation readiness and future trends in health library services. The workshop facilitated mutual learning among leading healthcare institutions, encouraged the adoption of modern library practices, created a platform for discussion on the future transformation of libraries, strengthened collaboration within the Indian medical academic ecosystem and inspired improvement in participating institutions, the report said.
