
Labor Minister G. Vivek Venkataswamy along with District In-charge Minister Jupally Krishna Rao visited Chennur constituency and performed Bhoomi Pooja for the construction of Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at a cost of ₹ 47.11 crore.
He also handed over a check for ₹9 crore to women’s groups under the interest-free loan scheme.
Mr. Vivek said that ATC is being set up to provide good job opportunities for the youth of the area. “I want the children here to study well and train at this center and achieve a good level,” he said.
“The previous MLA’s financial resources were limited to paper only and the state was saddled with debt during the BRS regime,” he said. He added that works worth ₹40 crore are currently being carried out in the constituency.
Mr. Jupally Krishna Rao revealed that a 1200 MW power plant has been set up in Jaipur and that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stone for an 850 MW power plant in February. “If the work on the power plant is completed, the local youth will get job opportunities,” he said.
