Telangana will host the Southern India Science Fair 2026 at Sangareddy from January 19

Organized by the Department of School Education, Telangana, the Southern India Science Fair (SISF) 2026 will be held at Sangareddy from January 19 to 23.

The prestigious annual zonal level academic event for class IX and X students and teachers from six southern states and union territories is organized in association with Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru.

All the events of the fair will be held at The Gaudium School, Kollur, RC Puram in Sangareddy district, officials said. Registration for the five-day program will open on Sunday (January 18).

Organized through the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), the fair was held in Telangana in 2018. In 2025, the event was held in Puducherry.

As per the plan, each state and union territory will present 35 exhibits, including 10 student group exhibits, 15 individual student exhibits and 10 teacher exhibits. A total of 210 exhibits will be displayed with 210 students and 210 teachers.

According to officials, around 4,000 student visitors from nearby areas and schools would witness this mega event daily and adequate arrangements have been made.
