Police officers across the Cyberabad police station conducted a voluntary drive for cleanliness and greenery on Saturday as part of efforts to create a safer and cleaner environment.
Staff from all police departments participated in the program during which vehicles parked on the station premises were identified and segregated, including old vehicles related to court cases and abandoned vehicles. Police said vehicles were systematically parked in designated areas and measures were taken to streamline the management of records relating to them.
The drive extended beyond the police station buildings, the surrounding areas were cleaned and special attention was paid to hygiene measures. As part of the initiative, saplings were planted in the premises of the police station to promote greenery.
