The K-INAM Kudumbashree brand is an alternative to the company’s products: Minister

January 18, 2026

The value-added products launched by Kudumbashree under its premium agri-food brand K-INAM will serve as an alternative to the company’s products in the global market, Local Government Minister MB Rajesh said here on Saturday (Jan 17, 2026). He added that the self-help mission for women has created a new chapter with the launch of the brand. He was speaking after launching 30 value added agricultural products under K-INAM in Nedumbassery.

“The government’s aim is to equip Kudumbashree to face the challenges of modern times. It is a significant achievement to launch 30 products through the Kudumbashree Technology Advancement Program (K-TAP) in just one year since its launch in June last year. All possible markets will be explored for the products, including the online space,” the minister said.

He termed Kudumbashree’s foray into the global market as a significant shift after its humble beginnings in local markets.

The minister also launched the next phase of K-TAP, which focuses on deeper technology integration, expanded product lines and better market readiness, as well as the Yukthi agro start-up initiative aimed at supporting youth-led agri-food businesses.

K-INAM products launched on Saturday include diabetic mix, banana healthy mix, baby powder, nutribar and virgin coconut oil. The product line further includes coffee cubes, fruit bars, mango fruit bars, pasta, hydrated banana, moringa leaf powder, moringa cookies and various millet-based snacks.

Kudumbashree also introduced a gift box containing premium products under the K-INAM brand. Each product under K-INAM is developed using standardized protocols to ensure food safety, nutritional integrity and shelf life, FSSAI compliant and scalable for domestic and export markets.
