Mysuru: Surprise check for enhanced security of train passengers

As directed by the Railway Board, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysuru Division, Mudit Mittal, along with branch officers conducted a surprise inspection on board train No. 16236 Tuticorin Express.

During the inspection, key safety and service aspects, including the availability and condition of fire extinguishers, passenger equipment and other onboard safety measures, were thoroughly scrutinized. The objective of the inspection was to ensure that all safety measures are followed and that passengers receive a high standard of comfort and service during their journey.

The DRM stressed the importance of strict adherence to security protocols and directed the officials concerned to maintain optimum standards in passenger transportation and on-board security mechanisms.

The division said in a press release that the initiative reflects the railways’ continued commitment to enhance passenger safety, comfort and the overall travel experience.
