Days after making headlines with a century in a practice match, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s younger brother Ashirvad once again impressed with the bat, smashing a brilliant 168 off just 119 balls in yet another dominant display.The 10-year-old, who started playing cricket only six months ago, represented Rishav XI in a practice match and lit up the match with an attacking knock that featured 19 fours and six sixes. He scored 141.18 and continued to display the fearless approach that had already gained him attention in local cricket circles. His latest hundred comes shortly after he declared himself with a brilliant 103 off 87 balls in his debut match for Cricket Academy Tajpur. This innings included 20 boundaries and a six, underlining his natural ability to create strikes.The young man’s rapid rise did not go unnoticed. Vaibhav, currently in Ireland with the Indian team for the T20I series, shared a story on Instagram celebrating his younger brother’s latest achievement. Ashirvad’s story is particularly noteworthy because he only recently took up cricket. Despite having less than a year of formal training, he has already produced some big scores.

While comparisons with Vaibhav are inevitable, the two brothers have different styles. Vaibhav is a left-arm batsman who can also spin, while Ashirvad is a right-handed and right-arm medium pace bowler.
