An AEW star has shared his thoughts on whether he aspires to transition to Hollywood and become a movie star. His perspective is sure to spark interest among fans, as opinions on the matter are likely to vary.
Several AEW stars have captured the attention of fans worldwide, but one athlete has stood out more than most: Powerhouse Hobbs. Despite being sidelined for an extended period due to a serious injury that required surgery, the 34-year-old made a comeback late last year and has been making waves ever since.
During a recent appearance on KTVU, Hobbs was asked if he had any plans to pursue a career in Hollywood. The former member of The Don Callis Family emphasized that his primary focus is on becoming a dominant force in professional wrestling. He added that while the future is uncertain, he remains fully committed to excelling in the ring.
“As of right now, my goal is to be the best in this business. That’s my main focus right now. Who knows what the future may hold, but as of right now, my main goal is to take over this business,” he said. [H/T Fightful]

Powerhouse Hobbs challenges Jon Moxley for a rematch
In the same interview, Powerhouse Hobbs issued a bold challenge to current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, demanding a rematch for the title.
Referencing his recent encounter with Moxley in Cincinnati, where he was ambushed by the Death Riders, Hobbs made it clear that he believes he deserves another shot at the championship.
“I definitely want my rematch against Jon Moxley, the current AEW World Champion. I had a title shot against him in his hometown, Cincinnati. Him and his crew got the best of me. So, I want my title shot,” he said.
It remains to be seen whether Moxley will accept Hobbs’ challenge and if AEW President Tony Khan will greenlight the rematch. While Hobbs has a valid case for a second opportunity, the outcome will depend on the decisions of those in charge.
