First line of 5 km family fun run held as part of Rubfila Palakkad Marathon in Palakkad.
Palakkad Fort Runners Club organized the second annual Rubfila Palakkad Marathon on Sunday. More than 3,000 runners from across the country participated in the marathon, which started from the Malampuzha Fantasy Park grounds and ended there.
Kerala State Athletics Association Vice President C. Haridas flagged off the 21 km half marathon. Inspector of Police Vipin Venugopal flagged off the 10-km marathon as CEO Rubfila G. Krishnakumar flagged off the five-km family fun run.
Winners in various categories received prizes worth more than ₹4,000. Fort Runners Club President KC Ajay and Secretary KS Ravikumar conducted the marathon.
