On the third day of the protest on Monday, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke stepped up his attack on the Center over alleged examination irregularities and the NEET paper leak controversy as protesters vowed to continue their agitation until Pradhan resigns.

The protest, which began on Saturday afternoon, continued into Sunday, with supporters remaining in place even as police were deployed.

“Day 3 at Jantar Mantar! Despite it being Monday, Jantar Mantar is full. The protest will continue tonight. We will not leave until Dharmendra Pradhan steps down,” he said in a post on X, sharing pictures from the protest site.

Candles were lit at the site in memory of students who allegedly committed suicide following a dispute over a paper leak. Earlier, Dipke claimed that the police did not allow candles at the protest site, but the activity was allowed later.

Addressing the protesters, Dipke questioned the response given to students who were not allowed to take the NEET re-test after they arrived minutes late at exam centers, saying the authorities were “punishing students” while failing to act against those allegedly involved in the paper leak.

Some NEET aspirants who appeared for the re-test on Sunday also joined the protest and shared their experiences.

The protesting students demanded accountability from the Pradhan and reforms in the examination system. Dipke also urged people to join the agitation and invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet the NEET aspirants at Jantar Mantar, saying they wanted to share their experiences with him directly.

Delhi Police denies Aadhaar claims

Dipke alleged that the police were preventing students from joining the protest by asking for their Aadhaar cards. However, the Delhi Police denied the claim, saying it was “factually incorrect” and that the force did not conduct Aadhaar checks or collect Aadhaar or address data from people at Jantar Mantar.
