The Center for Interdisciplinary Brain Sciences at the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Kozhikode, recently organized a two-day training program in molecular neurobiology for undergraduate life sciences students.
It was part of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation’s Scientific Social Responsibility Programme. A total of 25 students from colleges in Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad and Ernakulam districts participated in the programme. Research staff led by IMHANS Principal Investigators Rajith K. Ravindren and Shabeesh Balan trained the students.
S. Midhun, Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and MS Divya, Department of Pathology, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, gave lectures to the students.
