With just 10 minutes left for the gates to close for the NEET (UG) exam on Sunday, a student from Tolichowki found himself in a race against time here after getting into the wrong exam centre.

Accompanied by his father, Hasan Hashmi arrived at the Kendriya Vidyalaya center in Tirumalagiri only to learn that he had been allotted the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bolarum. With the entrance scheduled to close at 1:30 p.m., the family feared that his chances of appearing for the examination were diminishing.

Bolarum ACP Ramesh Kumar arranged a police vehicle to the Bolarum examination center to send the student to his allotted seat. To save time, the police coordinated the route and facilitated movement through the Rashtrapati Nilayam area, enabling the student to cover the distance quickly despite the tight deadline.

The student reached the Bolarum Kendriya Vidyalaya examination center around 1:25 pm, just five minutes before the gates closed, allowing him to appear for NEET.
