The Kannada Book Authority in collaboration with Gulbarga University will release the collected works of senior writers Chennaveera Kanavi and Professor Chandrashekar Patil here on December 23.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Kannada Book Authority member BH Niragudi said Gulbarga University Vice-Chancellor Shashikant S. Udikeri would inaugurate the program by releasing volumes of literary works of both the authors.
On this occasion, renowned writer SG Siddaramaiah will distribute free books to schools and colleges in Kalaburagi district.
Four comprehensive volumes by writer Chennaveera Kanavi and six comprehensive volumes by Professor Chandrashekar Patil will be published, Mr. Niragudi added.
Family members of the late writers, including Neela Patil and Priyadarshi Kanavi, and co-editor Manjunath T. will be present.
