
The 100th Annual International Conference of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama will be held from February 4 to 8, 2026 at Kuniya, Kasaragod, Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama President Syed Muhammad Jifri Muthukoya Thangal said at a press conference here on Saturday.
It has been found that more than 24 thousand people were left out in Kerala during the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. There should not be a situation where even one deserving person remains on the list. This will weaken the country’s democratic system. Authorities should be ready to address people’s concerns, Mr. Thangal said.
The Samastha Shatabdi Sandesh Yatra, led by Mr. Thangal, which started from Nagercoil on Friday, was received in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts on Saturday. The main objective of the yatra is to bring people closer to the educational, social and spiritual activities of Samastha, to provide the general public with an opportunity to understand Samastha more and to invite everyone to the 100th anniversary celebrations.
The reception organized to mark the centenary of the journey at Putharikandam Maithanam in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday evening was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Shajahan Darimi, District President of Samastha presided over the function while K. Muraleedharan was the Chief Guest. After spreading the message of the 100th anniversary of Samastha across the state, the procession will end at the final destination in Mangaluru at 4 pm on December 28.
