Education and Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday (December 19, 2025) inaugurated three academic buildings at Adikavi Nannaya University on the outskirts of Rajamahendravaram. Named after the Manjeera, Gouthami and Indravathi rivers, the buildings were constructed at a cost of ₹ 33.80 crore.
Adikavi Nannaya University Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Prasanna Sree announced that the examination building, named after the Manjeera river, was constructed at a cost of ₹ 8.25 crore and the College of Engineering building, named after the Gouthami river, was constructed at a cost of ₹ 20.05 crore. The School of Commerce and Management, which was named after the Indravathi River, was built at a cost of ₹5.50 crore. Prof. Prasanna Sree briefed the Education Minister about building infrastructure in the campus.
Rajanagaram MLA B. Balarama Krishna, Rajamahendravaram Urban Development Authority Chairman B. Venkataramana Chowdary, Higher Education Commissioner Narayana Bharat Gupta, Registrar KV Swamy and other officials were present.
