Power outage on June 22 due to KPTCL maintenance

As the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) continued to maintain various substations in Bengaluru, major residential areas, commercial areas including MG Road and Brigade Road, especially banks and shopping malls are expected to witness power outages on Monday.

Due to emergency maintenance by KPTCL at 66/11KV Mathikere substation, power supply will be disrupted in areas including Lottegollahalli, MLA Layout, JP Park, LIC Colony, Pampa Nagara, Mathikere, Yeshwanthapur 1st Main Road, HMT Layout, LCR School Road, Grade 0 and Brimvan 51 pm1 pm

Similarly, with the maintenance work at 66/11 kV IISc main substation, there will be power interruption from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in areas including Malleshwaram, MD Block, Vyalikaval, swimming pool extension, BHEL, IISc Brain Centre, Model Colony, Shareef nagara and surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, power will also be cut in LRP Office, Sobha Chrysanthemum, Jayakumar RMU, Divya Shanti, Govindapura, Karle, Brindavan Nagar, Titan Garage, Gandhinagar, Bhairavi Apartments, Hegde Nagar, Chandrika Soap Factory, BMTC Depot and surrounding areas from 3:00 PM to 10:00 AM.

Areas which are supplied by 66/11KV ‘B’ Station-20MVA Power Transformer-01 will experience power cut from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The affected areas include ING Vyasa Bank, Gangadhar Chetty Road, Haudin road, MV Garden, MG ROAD Public Utility, Udani layout, Jogupalya main road, Cambridge layout, Residency Road, Museum Road, St Marks Road, Hayes Road, Convent Road, Cresent Road, MG Road, Brigade road, Gowthampura Artiste.

Two days of power outage

Areas connecting to 66/11 kV Soladevanahalli main unit station will witness power cut for two days on Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 8 pm.

Includes Tharabanahalli, Hurulichikkanahalli, TB hybrid, Hesaraghatta, Bilijaji. Dwarakanagara, Chikkabanavara, Maruthi nagara. Ganapathi nagara, Shanthi nagara, Kalenahalli village Shivakote, Mavallipura, Kondashettihalli, Madhugirihalli, Hurulichikkanahalli, Kurubarahalli, Kumbarahalli, Silvepura, Pakegowdanapalya, Raghavendra Dhama, Byalakere College on the main road, Achala, Byalakere, Soladeuthvan Achary Sasuveghatta and other areas.
