Dubai Rain in UAE: The UAE will experience heavy rainfall today, December 19, with continued rain expected on Saturday and Sunday (December 20-21), according to data from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), Gulf News reported.
Reports added that 27-year-old Salman Fariz, an Indian expat died in Ras Al Khaimah after a wall collapsed during heavy rains.

The report said that the rainfall which started on December 18 will continue till December 21 due to cloud formation. Strong winds of up to 50km/h are expected to cause problems, while waters in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman will also be rough due to weather conditions, the report added.

According to a Gulf News report, December 20 is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with rainfall in coastal, northern and eastern areas. Fresh northwesterly to southwesterly winds of 15-30km/h are likely and are expected to increase to 50km/h. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are likely to experience rough waters.
Further, skies are expected to be partly clear on December 21 with a chance of showers over islands, coastal and western areas. Fresh light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds of 10-25 lmh, reaching a maximum of 35 km/h are expected. The Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman are likely to experience rough to moderate waters.
