An Indian-origin bride has taken the internet by storm after fixing a mistake within ten minutes of her wedding ceremony. Viral bride Gauri Agarwal is a hero in disguise who is determined and focused to make the dream of ‘KoyalAI’ come true. The company’s CEO Mehul Agarwal and the bride’s brother documented the event from scratch and highlighted the entrepreneurs’ dedication to their startups.
KoyalAI CTO Gauri Agarwal became an internet sensation because she fixed a critical bug in the AI code shortly after her wedding. He indicated that his sister did not neglect her work commitments even on the most crucial day of her life. In a post on X, Mehul Agarwal showed the dedication of startup founders to their work: “People romanticize startups, but it’s a lot of work. This is my sister and co-founder Gauri Agarwal at her own wedding, 10 minutes into the ceremony, fixing a critical bug in KoyalAI.”
The San Francisco-based brother-sister duo, graduates of MIT and Carnegie Mellon University, run the Agentic AI Filmmaking Platform, which generates “personalized engaging videos” for audio content such as music, podcasts, audiobooks and commentaries.
Emphasizing that the entrepreneurial journey involves hard work that continues even during personal celebrations, Mehul Agarwal dropped another update on the current status of his sister’s engagement, saying, “She’s currently on her honeymoon but she’s meeting 3 hours a day. Hubby’s not happy lol.”
Reaction on social networks
Social media responded strongly to entrepreneurs’ dedication to their startups, even during personal milestones. A user wrote: “No wonder I love the tool. Founders are locked in. Congratulations!” Another user commented: “I love the hustle bro (and sis haha) remember it’s a marathon not a sprint!”
A third comment read: “But really, even though money helps to spoil those moments once you look back on your life. It might be a fun memory of a wedding incident, but for 3 dates a day on your honeymoon, the husband will remember it and not look back fondly on it.”
A fourth user said: “I would hate to invest in a company (of course if I had the money) where employees can’t fix a critical bug and it requires a co-founder to step in on their wedding day. I find it extremely incompetent of the founders to not train their employees well enough to handle critical issues, this kind of power-hoarding mindset. Overall, it feels like a failed performance.”
The CEO responded to this by saying we were extremely young, the staff were at a wedding and the bride wanted to fix it.
