Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Sharanaprakash Patil announced in the Legislative Council on Tuesday that an International Job Fair will be held in February/March next year (2026).
Responding to the issue raised by Bharati Shetty on Tuesday, Dr. Sharanprakash Patil elaborated on how the government is preparing the ground for the International Job Fair, including holding road shows in various countries.
Dr. Patil said that through the Industry Linkage Cell (ILC), the government has changed the pattern of training so that the youth including ITI, diploma and engineer and other degree holders can get employment in the industry.
The minister said three skill development centers would be set up at Kalaburagi, Koppal and Mysuru to cater to the changed skill set requirements of the industry.
