The landslide victory of the United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kochi Corporation was evident even on the margins of victory.
While ten UDF candidates got a margin of over 1,000 votes, only two Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidates managed to do so and only one did so for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
For UDF, Albert Ambalathinkal from pachalam division recorded the largest margin of views (2,071) in the corporation, followed by Riya Lawrence (1,408) in Kathrikkadav, Antony Painumthara (1,340) in Panampilly Nagar, Fausia Muhammed (1.0 Among UDF mayoral candidates, 1st prospective UDF mayor, vargh10) from stadiums division leads the list, followed by glossy mathew (1,082) from Fort Kochi and vk Minimimolem (856) of Palarvatom.
Girl’s Robert (11) in Karaanakkodam Registered narrowest view of udf candidates, followed by Nirmala Rajappan (20) in Gandhi Nagar, Vr Sudheer (21) in Elamkkara South, Lasita Peter (24) in Edakochi South, Sibi John (25) in Thattazham and shakrutha sureshbabu (75) in South.
For the LDF, Ashwathy Joshy (1,855) in Kadebagham and Sujatha Babu (1,122) in Thazhuppu scored the largest margin of victory. PJ Dasan (968) scored the next highest victory in Nazreth. NX Likhitha (03) cruised by the narrowest margin from Perumpadappu, followed by Lakhitha Nelson (09) in Tharebagham, KJ Prakashan (15) in Mundamveli East, Rashida Hussain (21) in Nambyapuram and Brijith Ashwin (31) in Pottakkuzhi.
Pravitha Vijayakumar (1,593) registered the BJP’s biggest victory against her former party colleague Shyamala S. Prabhu in Cheralaya, followed by Priya Prasanth (800) in Amaravathy, Aswathy Gireesh (311) in Panayappilly, Sudha Dileepkumar, T4kulam (18) in T4kumari (14) and Jalaja S. Acharya (23) in Thrikkanarvattom division.
