Free health camp held at AU before Yoga Day

Andhra University’s Department of Yoga and Consciousness organized a free health check-up and counseling camp on Friday ahead of International Yoga Day celebrations.

Under the leadership of Dr. K. Vishnu Prasada, M.D. MB Super Specialty Hospital, consultations and medical services were provided by specialists in gynecology, neurology, orthopedics and general medicine. A total of 220 people used free consultations, diagnostic tests and laboratory examinations, including vitamin D3 and vitamin B12 screening.

Visakha Eye Hospital also organized an eye screening camp for 75 persons. Participants completed an eye examination and received medical attention. The program was coordinated by the Department of Yoga and Consciousness headed by K. Ramesh Babu.
