Solapur division of Central Railway has announced special trains between Pune and Bengaluru to clear the heavy rush of passengers. Weekend services will run in both directions via key stations in the Solapur–Kalaburagi–Guntakal section.
As per the timetable, Train No. 01413 Pune–Bengaluru Special will depart from Pune at 07:00 PM on December 6 and reach KSR Bengaluru at 11:15 AM the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 01414 will depart KSR Bengaluru at 1 pm on December 7 and arrive Pune at 5 am the next day. The trains will stop at Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Yelahanka and Bengaluru Cantonment and will consist of 16 three-decker AC powered cars and two generator equipped brake cars.
The second set of services includes Train No. 06263 Bengaluru–Pune Special departing KSR Bengaluru at 19:30 on 7 December and arriving Pune at 14:30 the next day and Train No. 06264 Pune–Bengaluru Special departing Pune at 15:30 on 9 December 3.30 in Bengaluru on 9 December in Bengaluru and Bengaluru on 09/12. the next day. These trains will run via Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Shahabad, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelahanka and Bengaluru Cantonment. Their composition includes AC II-tier, AC III-tier, sleeper and general second-class coaches.
Reservations for these special trains, which are available at special charges, can be made at all Computerized Reservation Centers and through www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets can be booked at counters or via the UTS mobile app. Railways advised passengers to check detailed timings through NTES app or inquiry portal.
