According to the Ministry of Electronics, IT, BT and Science and Technology, this collaboration will strengthen Karnataka’s position as India’s leading destination for Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and accelerate the growth of the semiconductor ecosystem in the state.
The state government on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding with The Allegiance International Co. Ltd as the first step to implement the project. The MoU was signed by Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, Director, Electronics, IT, BT, and Lawrence Chen, Vice President, Allegiance Group, in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and IT and S&T Minister Priyank Kharge.
