Harbhajan Singh lashes out at Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma’s critics
“I am not able to answer your question as to why the legends have been postponed or why they are being relegated. It is beyond our understanding,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the ILT20 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.“Maybe I won’t be able to answer because I was a player myself and what I saw happened to me. It happened to a lot of my teammates, but it’s very unfortunate. We don’t talk about it or discuss it.”“I’m so happy to see players like Virat Kohli still going strong. It’s a bit unfortunate that people who haven’t achieved much decide their future.”Harbhajan was full of praise for Kohli and Rohit for the way they batted in ODIs after retiring from Tests and T20Is. Virat has scored centuries in the ongoing series against South Africa. Meanwhile, Rohit scored one hundred and fifty two wickets in the last five ODIs he played against Australia and South Africa.“There was never a time when I thought he was not on the right track. They have always scored and they have always been great players for India. They have done extremely well as batsmen and team leaders.”“I am so happy for them; they are going very, very strong – not only are they strong but they are setting an example for the younger generation to follow and show what it means to be a champion. Well done Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for setting the right example,” Harbhajan said.
