Have you bought a Tesla lately? We want to hear from you.

Sales of Tesla electric cars in Europe fell last year after Elon Musk, the carmaker’s chief executive, alienated many with his political views and support for President Trump.

But the company’s sales have been growing lately, and we’re trying to figure out why. I cover the auto industry for The New York Times and would love to hear from people in Europe and elsewhere who have recently bought or are considering buying a Tesla. If you’ve considered it but decided not to, I’d love to hear your opinion as well.

Did your opinion of Mr. Musk have any influence on your decision? Have you decided that a Tesla car is the best car for your needs, even if you’re not a fan? Has your opinion of him changed recently, and if so, why? Is it easier for you to buy a Tesla now that it’s no longer part of the Trump administration?

I will read each response to this questionnaire and contact you if I am interested in learning more about your story.

We will not publish any part of your response without first contacting you, verifying your information and hearing from you. And we won’t share your contact information outside of the Times or use it for anything other than contacting you.
