The passenger was removed for United Airlines flight at Newark Liberty International Airport after a profane outburst was directed at a flight attendant during a significant delay. The incident was caught on camera by a fellow passenger and quickly went viral after it was shared on TikTok on November 10, as reported New York Post on Sunday.
The flightbound for Charleston, South Carolina, was already heavily delayed, initially waiting three hours before boarding and then being stuck on the tarmac for another hour and a half.
Passenger confronts flight attendant about delayed takeoff
The video shows the angry passenger leaving her window seat and confronting the flight attendant in the aisle. As the crew member cleared her way, the passenger muttered abusive words, including profanity, directed at the flight attendant as she left.
Within a moment, the woman suddenly realized that she was being recorded and immediately fell silent, trying to look away from the camera.
In a social media post on X, a user said: “Passenger took off United Airlines flight at Newark after swearing ‘f–king c–ts’ at flight attendant.
“The flight to Charleston was delayed three hours before boarding and then held for another hour and a half on the tarmac.
A passenger on the plane said, “I’m getting up. I’m allowed to get up. If you leave us on the tarmac for an hour, I’m allowed to get up. It’s not a problem at all. I really don’t have a problem wanting to f–king stand. F–king c–ts,” according to X’s post.
According to the female passenger, the situation worsened after other passengers tried to calm the woman down, but this only caused her to “spin around”.
During this escalation, the passenger allegedly told other people to “kill themselves” and went on a long monologue about how difficult her life was.
“Eventually she started telling people to fuck themselves and went on a long rant about how hard her life is,” user X wrote.
Due to her behavior, the crew had to return the plane to the gate and the passenger was eventually removed from the plane.
