The 54th state-level meeting of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Kerala PEDICON-25 will conclude here on Sunday.
Former Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences MKC Nair inaugurated the conference. IAP National Secretary Yogesh Parikh delivered the keynote address.
The new officials of Kerala branch of IAP assumed office in the meeting.
Senior paediatricians in the state were felicitated on the occasion.
More than 1,500 doctors and 250 post-graduate medical students from across the country participated in the three-day conference organized by the Thiruvananthapuram branch of the IAP.
