Canada vs Qatar live FIFA World Cup: Alphonso Davies on bench, eyes on first place in Group B

The squad sheets are in and Alphonso Davies will start the game among the substitutes despite being declared fit after a recent hamstring problem.

Canadian coach Jesse Marsch opted to bring Cyle Larin into the starting XI after his equalizer against Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Ali Ahmed also comes into the side. Tani Oluwaseyi and Liam Millar drop to the bench.

Qatar, meanwhile, are unchanged from the team that drew 1-1 with Switzerland, with captain Boualem Khoukhi once again leading the side. Record scorer Almoez Ali remains among the substitutes.
