Two members of the West Virginia National Guard were shot and killed Wednesday in Washington, DC, just blocks from the White House, in what the mayor described as a targeted attack. Nearly 2,200 troops are currently assigned to a joint task force operating in the city, according to the latest government update, as reported by the Associated Press.
