Simon Wong, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore, attended the wedding ceremony of one of his staff – and pictures of the event are now circulating on social media. Dressed in ethnic wear, he traveled to the employee’s hometown in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where he was seen posing for photographs and enjoying a wedding reception.
The diplomat shared pictures of the ceremony on his social media and wrote, “Attend my staff’s wedding ceremony at his village in Bulandshahr, UP. So much joy. Congratulations.”
Photos shared online show him standing next to the couple and their family, posing for the camera. In another picture, Wong, dressed in a yellow kurta, is seen holding a plate of Indian food and sitting with a little girl.
Wong seems to have enjoyed every moment of the function; she is seen posing for photos with other relatives and friends who seem quite excited.

Tamil superstar and politician Thalapathy Vijay also met Simon Wong, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to India, during the diplomat’s visit in June. Wong shared a photo of their meeting on social media and his caption quickly caught the attention of the internet.
In the photo, Vijay was seen in an all-white ensemble, his hands casually tucked in his pockets, sporting his signature salt-and-pepper look with a mustache and beard – effortlessly stylish as ever.
