
The 26th All India Konkani Literary Conference will be held on November 22 and 23 at AJ Hall in Kaloor here. As many as 700 delegates from across the country will attend the conference organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Konkani Parishad.
The conference will be inaugurated by Saraswati Samman awardee and writer Prabha Varma. Madhav Borkar, a noted Konkani writer from Goa, will preside. The keynote address will be delivered by Anil H. Sawant, Deputy Director, Directorate of Official Languages.
Kerala High Court Judge N. Nagaresh will inaugurate the closing ceremony. Literary works in the language will also be published at the event. According to the organizers, a book exhibition will also be organized.
