
TKM College of Arts and Science is organizing a quantum science exhibition in collaboration with Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad and Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) to mark the centenary of quantum science. The exhibition is being held as part of the ongoing Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the school.
Models and displays explaining the growth and practical applications of quantum science will be on display to help students from high school level and the general public understand the related theories simply and directly. Specially trained volunteers will explain the items on display at each stall. In addition to the main exhibition, all departments of TKM College and its sister institutions prepared separate informative exhibitions as part of the college’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Other events scheduled during the exhibition days include lectures led by scientists, a robot show and cultural programs.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by TKM College Trust Chairman Shahal Hassan Musaliar on November 20, while N. Shaji of Cusat will deliver the keynote address.
