A resident of RML Nagar in Shivamogga town was allegedly attacked by three people near Marnamibail on November 15, Saturday.
Harisha was returning home when he was attacked. The incident was caught on CCTV cameras. The Doddapete police have registered a case.
Shivamogga Superintendent of Police GK Mithun Kumar informed the media on Monday that the accused have been identified and efforts are on to nab them.
Two teams were formed to nab the accused.
Meanwhile, MLA for Shivamogga SN Channabasappa visited the victim’s house in the city on Sunday and interacted with the injured. The lawmaker alleged that law and order had broken down in the city.
Mr. Channabasappa visited the police station with the victim and demanded the arrest of the accused.
