Hearing of Lokayukta complaints in Bidar from tomorrow

Upalokayukta B. Veerappa will conduct a hearing on the grievances pending before the Lokayukta during his two-day visit to Bidar district later this week.

According to a statement issued by Lokayukta Superintendent of Police C. Siddaraju, the hearings will be held at Poojya Shri Channabasava Pattadevaru Rangamandir in Bidar on Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.

In the cases registered with the Lokayukta, notices have already been issued to the complainants and the concerned government officials. All complainants were instructed to attend the hearing with relevant documents relating to their complaints.

The release clarified that the scheme is exclusively for hearing complaints already registered with the Lokayukta. Mr. Veerappa will not receive fresh complaints from the public during the session.

Citizens who want to file fresh complaints have been advised to approach the Lokayukta Police Station opposite Bal Bhavan in KHB Colony, Bidar.
