Led by Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Nag, the Sammilana platform promotes strong CSR partnerships aimed at achieving sustainable development across the district.
As part of the initiative, a senior delegation from JK Tire & Industries Ltd visited Chamarajanagar. and expressed willingness to support projects in the area of lake rejuvenation, education and livelihood improvement.
The delegation consisted of Vice President Eshwar Rao, Senior General Manager R. Jagadish, Rotary CSR Chairman Kiran Robert and CII Mysuru Zone President.
During their visit, the team carried out a feasibility assessment on key water bodies including Dodda Kere in Gundlupet city limits, Nagavalli lake in Chamarajanagar taluk and Badanaguppe lake in the same taluk.
The delegation also visited the Badanaguppe–Kellamballi industrial area to explore opportunities for CSR-driven environmental and industrial development.
The Deputy Commissioner said the district aims to create a long-term CSR collaboration through the Sammilana platform, focusing on sustainable water conservation and improving rural livelihoods.
