
Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, who suffered injuries after falling on a morning walk two days ago, said Saturday that he received 20 stitches but is now fully recovered.
The senator also shared his first photo after receiving the stiches.
“20 stitches later and a full recovery, I’m back home with @giselefetterman and the kids. I’m overwhelmed + deeply grateful for all the well wishes. Really,” Fetterman said in a post on X.
He also thanked the UPMC healthcare providers for the incredible medical care. “See you in DC,” he added.
During a medical examination, it was discovered that he had a flare-up of ventricular fibrillation, which caused Senator Fetterman to feel faint, fall to the ground, and hit his face with minor injuries.
