
Notable singer and songwriter Todd Snider has died at the age of 59.
The singers were suffering from an undiagnosed case of walking pneumonia.
The Nashville musician was hospitalized days after he was arrested on Nov. 2 for allegedly trespassing at a Salt Lake City hospital.
“Aimless, Inc. headquarters is heartbroken to announce that our founder, our folk hero, our poet of the world, our VP of Sudden Change, storyteller, our beloved Todd Daniel Snider has left this world,” read a post on Snider’s Facebook page.
The post goes on to read: “Where do we find the words for someone who always had the right words, who knew how to distill everything down to its essence with words and song, while delivering the most devastating, hilarious and impactful turn of phrase? We always create a rhyme and meter that instantly feels like an old friend or a favorite blanket. Someone who has almost always found humor in this crazy ride on planet earth.”
