
The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) was ranked first in India and Central Asia at the 18th Eduniversal World Congress held at IIM Indore from November 10 to 13. The Institute received the distinction of 5 Emeritus Palms, which is awarded to business schools that have been in the top 5 Palms of Excellence League for more than 10 years.
IIMB also received a gold trophy for ranking first in the Central Asia region, backed by a 341% dean’s recommendation rate. It is one of two Indian business schools with 5 Palmes Emeritus status and one of three to receive 5 Palmes of Excellence in the country.
Dinesh Kumar, Director-in-Charge and Professor Mukta Kulkarni, Dean of Programs received the awards. Prof. Dinesh said the institute’s programs continue to perform well against global benchmarks and that its position in the Eduniversal rankings reflects continuous efforts to improve.
