Police dog Sheeba (9) was laid to rest with official honors on Friday (Nov 14, 2025) in Vijayawada. The sniffer dog served the police department for eight years, police said. Police Commissioner SV Rajasekhar Babu paid tributes to Sheeba, who died due to ill health. Deputy Commissioner of Police SVD Prasad, ACP Prem Kumar and Krishnam Raju and other officers were among those who paid tribute to the dog.
