Thorough checks have been carried out at the RTC bus stand in Kurnool as a precautionary measure after the recent terror attack in Delhi.
Bomb disposal units and sniffer dogs inspected the parking lot of the RTC bus stands, while the car park and parcel office were inspected by police teams led by Kurnool Deputy Superintendent of Police J. Babu Prasad. The police team also checked passengers’ luggage.
Police said they were on the lookout for people moving around suspiciously and at the mailroom. DSP Babu Prasad urged people to contact the police on 112 or 100 regarding suspicious movement of persons and also regarding unclaimed luggage.
