Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday (Nov 11, 2025) expressed deep grief over the loss of life in a car blast near Red Fort in New Delhi on Monday evening (Nov 10), saying it was an unfortunate incident.
Addressing a gathering at a public meeting after launching a pilot project of a renovated water tank in Vengalayapalem village near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, he said that due to the blast and the death toll, they decided to keep the public event simple. He hoped that the injury would heal, adding that the truth would come out only after the ongoing investigation.
State Minister for Rural Development Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar expressed deep shock over the blast and offered his sincere condolences to the victims of the incident.
Leaders held a two-minute silence before the event to pay their respects to the victims of the blast.
