Police units across Telangana have been put on high alert as part of standard security protocol following a high-intensity explosion near Red Fort Metro station in Delhi on Monday (Nov 10, 2025) evening that killed at least eight people.

A senior officer from the DGP’s office said that as per procedure, all city police commissioners and district police inspectors were immediately alerted and instructed to deploy Blue Colts and other field squads to maintain heightened vigilance. The move is aimed at ensuring that no local panic or misinformation spreads in Delhi after the blast.
