The Election Commission of India (ECI) started the SIR 2025 process in West Bengal earlier this month. Under the SIR in West Bengal, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) go door to door to distribute voter census forms that the EC can use to verify voter details.
Booth-level officers in West Bengal have distributed more than two million lists since the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls began on November 4, an official said on Thursday.

What is an enumeration form?
An “enumeration form” is a document used to make an official list of persons, items or data. In West Bengal SIR 2025, the enumeration form will be used to create a list of eligible voters who can cast their vote in the West Bengal Assembly elections in 2026. About 7.66 million enumeration forms have been prepared and each voter will receive two copies: one to keep with a receipt stamp and one for the records of the Election Commission.
How do I get enumeration form for myself in West Bengal SIR?
Amid ongoing West Bengal, SIR will visit your BLO home, in most cases accompanied by booth level political party agents (BLAs) to distribute and collect the enumeration form. You can also get your own enumeration form online at the official ECI website.

What is the purpose of the enumeration form?
The enumeration form will ensure that you are an eligible voter and will be used to create the official list of voters under the West Bengal SIR 2025. If your voter details match, you will be eligible to vote in the upcoming elections.
What will BLO do?
The BLO will visit your home to update your voter information. You can expect the BLO to visit you between November 4 and December 4, 2025 and provide you with pre-filled duplicate voter roll forms. They will also guide you through the form filling process. The BLOs will also be responsible for collecting the enumeration form and providing acknowledgment of receipt.

Can I get the statement form online?
Yes. You can access your enumeration form online at the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal official portal – you can also access the forms through the ECINET mobile app.
I cannot access the online enumeration form. what should i do now
If you do not have access to your enumeration form online, you can wait for the BLO to come and complete the form offline. You can also contact your BLO whose information is available on the ECI website. The website also has the ability to book an appointment with your BLO.
How to Fill Enumeration Form for West Bengal SIR 2025?
The enumeration form will have some pre-filled details including your name, EPIC number, address, Assembly and Lok Sabha constituency name and number, part number, serial number, state name, unique QR code and photograph of existing voter. You will need to verify these details and fill your date of birth, mobile number, parents/spouse name and attach a photograph.
What documents should you keep ready for West Bengal SIR?
You will need recent passport size photographs and your EPIC number to complete the enumeration form. Aadhaar card and a link to the 2002 electoral roll (if your name or your parents’ or grandparents’ name appears on it) are also required.

The EPIC number is a 10-digit unique identification number assigned by the Election Commission of India to every registered voter. It serves as proof of voter registration.
