Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday dismissed talk of a “November revolution” and said the “real revolution” would be the Congress’ return to power in 2028.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, he said, “Someone wrote about the November revolution in the media. We have been given the responsibility of the Bihar elections and we are busy with them. There is no revolution other than the Bihar one.”
No plan to meet any leader
Asked if he is meeting AICC president Mallikarjun Kharg, he said, “I am not meeting anyone. No one has discussed the cabinet expansion with me. I have no plans to meet any leader, I will only discuss the party organization. Yesterday and today we had a meeting about vote theft. If there is any discussion about the cabinet expansion, it is in the media. I said something about the party leadership talking about the party leadership has changed or if there has been a change the chief minister will be there for five years, he will be there if they say he will be there for 10 or 15 years, he will be there for that many years, I am a disciplined soldier of the party and I will never cross the line of the party.
