Several parts of Hyderabad witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall on Tuesday (November 4), bringing brief relief from the prevailing warm conditions during the day. The rain, which was intermittent throughout the day, did not result in waterlogging or major traffic disruptions. By evening, the showers had largely subsided over most of the area.
According to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) data, as of 9 pm, chandrayangutta recorded 38.8 m rain followed by 29.5 mm in Haythnagar, 26.8 mm in update, 24 mm in vanAsshaalipuram, 22.5 mm in Karvan, 21.5 mm in Bandalaguda, 83 mm in lb nagar, 18 mm in lb nagar, 17.3 mm in kanchanbagh, 15 mm in nagole and 10.8 mm in mehdpatnam.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in Hyderabad and surrounding areas for the next 24 hours. “The city will have partly clear skies. Light rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds are very likely. Mist or fog may prevail during morning and night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 32°C and 23°C,” the IMD bulletin said.
