SRM University-AP hosted the 72nd foundation day celebrations of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Vijayawada Centre, on Monday.
IETE Vijayawada Center Chairman B. Surya Prasada Rao and Secretary Shaik Riyazuddin said nearly 4,000 engineering students from Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Khammam districts have benefited from IETE initiatives and expert guidance in Electronics, Communication and Information Technology.
On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of SRM University-AP Ch. Satish Kumar while the club logo was unveiled by CV Tomy, Dean, School of Engineering and Sciences.
The club will host workshops, circuit design challenges and hackathons to promote hands-on technical learning and innovation among students, according to a statement from the institute.
